INTERMEDIATE COURSE B1-B2
Ehi, ciao!
Welcome to the B1-B2 Italian language course page. My name is Marco and I am an Italian language teacher that has been helping several people from all over the world to become fluent in Italian.
I hold my classes on Skype and Google Meet and I teach to groups of people that have the same level. Groups are small, maximum 5 people, in order to guarantee quality, efficiency, and the best supervision on students.
Why groups? It is simple: working together with a group of people that has the same language level as you speeds up the process of learning. Moreover, you will have the chance to have a confrontation with other people, make new friends from all over the world, and enjoy the language learning journey in good company.
What does B1-B2 mean?
B1-B2 refers to levels of language proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
B1 indicates a solid working knowledge of the language, allowing for effective communication in most situations, while B2 indicates a higher level of proficiency, allowing for more fluent and spontaneous use of the language.
You can check you level by doing my test here.
What will you be able to do after this course?
You will have more complex conversations, in which you are sharing your point of view, your ideas, and pieces of advice. You will easily understand videos, TV series, music and written texts, like magazines and books, getting the 60-70% of the information in there contained.
You will master the IF clauses, studying the subjunctive and the conditional; you will have a deep understanding of prepositions, pronouns, and the expressions of formality. You will start to know how to use all the moods and tenses in Italian.
When travelling, you will know what to do and what to say in almost any situations. Your vocabulary will be wide enough to support you in your daily conversations with native speakers. You will order food and talk to perfect strangers by using the rules of the formal speech.
